Other Experience- Life Hacker

While reading Lucky hacker's post "Why I Stopped Pirating and Started Paying for Media." he starts by talking about how "most of us have illegally downloaded something in our lives" and goes on to say why he began to pirate videos in the first place.

Starting in the mid 2000's he says " Digital was confusing and expensive" during this time nothing was easy if you wanted to go digital. It was annoying just to download software because of the tricky payment service. Music download was  between $9.99 and $15.99. So instead of going through un trusting websites that left your details all over the internet he decided to pirate games and software.

He goes on to talk about "Why I Stopped Pirating and Went Legit" saying that he stopped everything immediately and didn't even realize that he had stop pirating. These day are better compared to before, most music, software etc , digital copies come out the same day they are in the stores.Media companies have made it easier to access files and with software like Spotify and Rdio sampling music and other forms of media makes it a breeze, without having to pirate.

Life Hacker  has good points that you may or may not agree too but also may be able to relate to, go visit his website and check out what he says in his full article.
